Overview

This 6-day "Wild Wonders of Tanzania" safari begins with a drive from Arusha to the Serengeti, where you can stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for breathtaking views. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you'll set out on an afternoon game drive, spotting animals like elephants, lions, and giraffes across the vast plains.

On the second and third days, your time in the Serengeti will be filled with more game drives, giving you plenty of opportunities to see wildlife in their natural habitat. Every new day on Tanzania Safari brings new sights as you explore the park’s diverse landscapes.

Next, you’ll head to Karatu, where you can rest and prepare for a full-day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater. On the fifth day, you’ll descend into the crater to see its rich wildlife, including rare black rhinos. After a memorable day, return to Karatu for the night, and the trip ends with a scenic drive back to Arusha.

Your guide will meet and pick you from your accommodation in Arusha, As you make your way towards Serengeti, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the Ngorongoro Crater from the viewpoint. This is a great place to take photos and soak in the beauty of the area. After enjoying the crater view, continue your journey towards the Serengeti. Nabi Gate is one of the entrances to the Serengeti National Park. This is a perfect spot to stop for your packed lunch. Enjoy your pack lunch while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Serengeti. Post lunch, you will enter the Serengeti National Park through Nabi Gate. Embark on your first exciting afternoon game drive en-route the Serengeti Plains, known for its diverse wildlife and picturesque landscapes. Keep your camera ready as you might encounter various species of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. As the sun begins to set, head towards, your accommodation for the night. The camp offers comfortable lodging and an authentic safari experience. Arriving in the evening will give you the chance to relax, unwind, and enjoy a delicious dinner at the camp.

En route, you'll have the opportunity to take in the diverse landscapes and perhaps stop for a brief visit to a local market or cultural site where you can enjoy your pack lunch. Upon arrival in Karatu, you'll check into your accommodation .The remainder of the day is at your leisure, allowing you to unwind and prepare for the next day's adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater.
