After a late relaxed breakfast, you will head towards the north western part of Serengeti with lunch hampers to enjoy on the way as well as the game drive.
Spend the next 3 days experiencing “The Crossing” and exploring this part of Serengeti at your own pace and time. You may take picnic hampers prepared for you at the lodge or drive back to the lodge for a hot sumptuous meal.
Experience “The Crossing” at Grumeti or Mara River through the north western corridor. The Dramatic scene ensue as hundreds of wildebeest and zebras plunge in to the river, in a desperate attempt to reach the other side before the rivers’ ravenous and prolific population of outsized crocodiles feed on them.
The first herds to cross are generally at a greater risk. It can take up to two weeks from when the first herd arrives the southern bank of the river for the actual crossing to begin, by when thousands of herds are congregated in the western corridor.
